I stayed because I am a "retired" tech that feels every word you wrote, and appreciates you sharing it with people. I wonder why we are just noticing it, but whatever: hopefully the Zeitgeist will come to acknowledge the Technomages that make the tiny copperwire demons do the bidding of those that strike the keys blindly. :)<br />Thanks for motivating me to remember the "challenge of surmounting a new OS" that I used to feel when one came out. I feel hesitant about upgrad...I can relate to this. I feel hesitant about upgrading operating systems too, just because I’ve coped up with the way things are with my current computer, and I am scared that my files would go missing or that some function would change. I am sorry to hear that some computer techs are being treated that way, when you guys are just doing your job. Let me take this opportunity to say that you guys are amazing!
